Come and visit a beautiful area of Monmouthshire and learn a new skill in a cosy, country workshop. Textiles at The Weir is a studio based at a working small holding on the outskirts of Llanddewi Rhydderch, a small village just outside the market town of Abergavenny. 

We provide a variety of textile based day courses including hand and machine embroidery, felting, embellishing, fabric painting and printing. 

Our courses cater for all abilities from total beginners to the more experienced people looking for new challenges and techniques. 

All courses are taught in small groups up to six with lots of opportunities for one-to-one tuition. The aim is for everyone to produce piece of work by the end of the day.

The Courses

If you are interested in threads and textiles and would like to learn something new or develop your skills and knowledge, then Textiles at The Weir is the place for you! 

The courses will run from 10am- 4pm, complimentary refreshments throughout the day and lunch will be provided. We are more than happy to cater for any special dietary requirements, just let us know your requirements when booking.

Cost

Each course will cost £45 per person, which includes all basic materials requirements for the activity. 

Bookings can be made via telephone or email. Payments can be made with cash, cheque or via paypal to info@textilesattheweir.co.uk. The balance must be paid in full in at time of booking.
